The Care Company is looking for an awesome, self-driven
Personal Support Worker to work
in Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who will assist clients in their homes with all daily activities.

These activities include everyday living, housekeeping, bathing and dressing, transportation, cooking, toileting, medication, mobility, and continence care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans and support with daily activities within the scope of practice for a
Personal Support Worker:
Ensure clients' safety and well-being are met by providing companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes, facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and maintaining a secure environment.
Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a
Personal Support Worker:
Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly
Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
Observe the patients' medical health as well as their physical and mental responses
Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge and practices safely and competently within the job description
Completes records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

An asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required)
Negative TB Test completed within the last year
Personal Support Worker Certification or International Nursing/ Doctorate Certification
Valid Criminal Record Check must be completed within the last year.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
