THE POSITION:


Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We're looking for a well-rounded high level of expertise Team and Events Coordinator to join our Canadian team.

The Team and Events Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating local and regional events, as well as marketing and partnership efforts across multiple teams and departments.

This is a highly collaborative role that interacts with multiple departments within the company and has client-facing elements.


THE GAME PLAN:


Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work with FanDuel's CEO office and other Flutter departments as needed for collaboration and execution of programs as needed
  • Coordinate large crossfunctional projects or initiatives; bring together key stakeholders and help drive decisions
  • Manage frequent, often complex, and everchanging travel arrangements for the General Manager of Canada, including the management of expense reports for the General Manager and Executive Team
  • Manage daytoday and annual calendar for the General Manager of Canada
  • Coordinate the agenda of senior management team meetings, offsites, and all staff meetings including invites, presentations and follow up notes
  • Help plan and coordinate engaging events for our leadership, partnerships, and VIP teams among others, including researching venues, ordering event materials, (including creative) and assets and coordinating with vendors
  • Manage relationship with our partners and league offices supporting the partnership team
  • Source venues & manage suppliers for events as needed
  • Create Deal Sheets for suppliers as needed
  • Support the General Manager of Canada with Canadian Gaming Association initiatives
  • Manage industry events attendance and engagement for Vice Presidents and Senior Directors

THE STATS:


What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as Administrative Assistant or Event Planner in a fastpaced environment preferred
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Customer focused and highly approachable with the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
  • Experience working in a crossfunctional team environment supporting stakeholders in different groups
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make effective decisions, and change course of action quickly
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Positive attitude and remain calm in highstress situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • Selfstarter; Ability to work independently to drive both efficiency and execution
  • You don't mind working during nontraditional business hours as needed, and willing travel within Canada and the US throughout the year
