Our client's products are used extensively in public safety and private industry communication networks, such as emergency services, transportation, natural resources, and utilities.

They have over 70 years of industry-leading expertise in all aspects of antenna and RF signal conditioning design and manufacturing.

With a strong focus on R&D, they continue to expand their product offerings and offer industry-leading technical solutions.


Our client is now looking for a highly motivated and hardworking
Product Manager who is interested in working for a premier provider of innovative communication solutions.

We are seeking team-focused, innovative, and detail-oriented individuals who are looking for new learning experiences, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success.


If you have hands-on RF or telecommunications experience, along with a drive to learn, then you may be our next Product Manager.


Product Manager


You will manage projects related to our products and services, taking them through the development pipeline from inception to implementation.

Working across various teams and stakeholders and acting as the key communicator, you'll manage timelines, resources, and potential risks to ensure that new visions can be successfully brought to life.


Practically speaking you will:


  • Manage the full product lifecycle (from concept to EOL) by working with various departments, including R&D/Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing
  • Study market trends and monitor/analyze target market environment through direct market research
  • Analyze features, pricing, profitability, key performance indicators, and competitiveness of products and solutions in the marketplace
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new product opportunities and prepare business cases & strategies from a thorough understanding of customers' requirements and the competitive environment.
  • Support the sales team on proposals, quotation requests, and customer engagement
  • Align product requirements, establish and maintain product roadmaps
  • Establish marketing communication and promotional strategies, lead product launches and coordinate various product marketing activities
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and prepare annual standard regional product price lists
  • Maintain product pricing information on CRM and ERP
  • Prepare/maintain product specification documents and promotional materials on the website
  • Conduct new product training for the sales team and customers
  • Plan and participate in major industry events to keep current of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Ensure that all legal, regulatory, and branding requirements are met
  • Support/guide peers/juniors in the Product Management team and the HQ

The Details:

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with flexible hours at our Aurora office.

Our client offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus bonuses, a comprehensive benefits plan, 4% RRSP matching, and vacation.

Approximately 10% travel will be required in the role, worldwide.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, or equivalent field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in RF or telecommunications
  • 2+ years of experience in product management
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Effective management of multitasking
  • Proven discipline to execute a product launch plan
  • Proven ability to write technical specifications and requirements
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentations).
  • Experience and/or knowledge of public safety communications is an asset.
  • Available and able to do worldwide travel (approximately 10%)
