About us
Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm is a treasured family-owned working farm.

Since we opened the doors in 1993, an abundance of love, devotion and hard work from three generations of Stanley's has gone into the farm.

Over the years a great number of extended family, friends and neighbours have helped from gathering sap to baking cookies.

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for learning and following established recipes as well as preparing food, managing inventory and helping to clean up at the end of events.

In addition, the Catering Assistant will be tasked with working directly with the Head Chef to assist in planning, creating and executing new menus and recipes for weddings, events and the on-site Farm Shop.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience in food service or catering industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of baking is beneficial but not required
  • Access to a car or reliable transportation. There is no public transport available.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edwards, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
