Position Overview

The Manager of Creative Services (CS) supports and report to the Creative Services and Development Director and will play a critical role in developing a strategic ministry-centered approach to service delivery.

This role proactively looks to implement best practices, enhance efficiencies, and increase the effectiveness of marketing and communications pieces in order to serve the ministries of P2C with consistency, excellence, creativity, and innovation.


About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the following objectives:

Operations & Innovation

  • Developed, managed, and optimized crucial systems and processes for Creative Services, ensuring appropriate documentation and facilitating interdepartmental/team systems, such as online donation pages, donor queries via the web, etc.
  • Oversee team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs, quarterly and annual reporting to track progress and identify challenges and opportunities.
  • Actively seek out innovative ideas that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team in service delivery, identifies synergistic opportunities, and shares best practice and emerging trends in highperforming teams.
  • Maintain efficient file management in Google Drive and files on a shared server.

Project Management

  • Oversee the development and implementation of Creative Services' annual marketing plan and integrated marketing calendar, working closely with the ministries to ensure all relevant marketing and communications pieces are accounted for, and the calendar is kept up to date.
  • Develop and manage the 'Resource Hub' model of service delivery, developing appropriate templates and training videos/sessions and providing coaching to embedded marketing reps within ministries to meet identified needs, emerging trends, and best practices.
  • Develop and facilitate brand guidelines, as well as perform regular spotchecks of marketing material output by each of the ministries, ensuring brand guideline adherence, quality, voice, accuracy, etc. If necessary, point toward resources.
  • Oversee the efficient production of creative, costeffective, and engaging marketing and communications pieces for ministries and P2C, including print, online, social, banners, swag, and video.
  • Manage vendor relationships, curate a preferred vendor list, and track expenditures relative to budget.

Leadership

  • Facilitate and oversee regular team meetings, training, and special events.
  • Work closely with the Creative Operations Coordinator to facilitate effective management of the Creative Services portfolio, projects and initiatives.


You provide day-to-day supervision for the team, providing input to the Director quarterly for Staff Objective Development Cycles (SODCs) for team members.


  • In consultation with the Director, you develop materials and facilitate crisis communications strategies, providing appropriate materials and resources to the ministries relative to crisis situations.
  • Serve as the liaison with the Senior Project Lead to coordinate initiatives with the President's Office.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with embedded ministry reps, establish quarterly meetings, and engage in opportunities such as lunch and learns, Q&A sessions, etc.

Creative Process Lead

  • Lead a collaborative process with the Creative Services Team (writers, graphic designers, videography), including research and discovery, concept development, creative briefs, storyboarding, and design development.
  • Facilitate the development of creative templates, including campaign briefs, creative briefs, and debrief documents.
  • Facilitate a feedback loop between ministries, the President's office, Central Services, and the CS team, including projectbased work, as well as implementing an annual survey to assess satisfaction and growth opportunities and address gaps in service.
  • Stay abreast of current practices and trends across creative channels, print, video, web, social media, etc.
