SUMMARY:

The receiving clerk is responsible for the preparation and distribution of receiving documentation to carriers, customers, and other departments. A high emphasis of this role will pertain to scheduling shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Book and prioritize inbound shipments
  • Maintain records for reporting and tracking
  • Work with Supply and Demand planners related to incoming shipments
  • Yard management communication with carriers, drivers, and security
  • Report on receiving discrepancies and load accuracy
  • Process shipments receipts in JDA from Sourced, Inter Company and outsourced/3rd party vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SELECTION STANDARDS REQUIRED:


  • Must have 24 years of Distribution experience
  • Must be flexible for overtime and weekends to meet business demands
  • Flexible hours during the training period
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail is mandatory
