SUMMARY:

The receiving clerk is responsible for the preparation and distribution of receiving documentation to carriers, customers, and other departments. A high emphasis of this role will pertain to scheduling shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Book and prioritize inbound shipments
Maintain records for reporting and tracking
Work with Supply and Demand planners related to incoming shipments
Yard management communication with carriers, drivers, and security
Report on receiving discrepancies and load accuracy
Process shipments receipts in JDA from Sourced, Inter Company and outsourced/3rd party vendors
Perform other duties as assigned

SELECTION STANDARDS REQUIRED:

Must have 24 years of Distribution experience
Must be flexible for overtime and weekends to meet business demands
Flexible hours during the training period
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail is mandatory
