Coal Harbour Marina is a 24-7 operation with team members always available to offer professional and high-quality customer service to our diverse clientele.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant works closely with the marina and management team to provide confidential administrative support to Coal Harbour Marina.
We are looking for an individual who is organised, has experience working in an office environment, and appreciates the importance of supporting a team.
Key responsibilities include:
Operations
- Daytoday coverage of office operations
- Perform officerelated tasks such as answering calls, responding to queries, ordering supplies.
- Maintain key fob access software and codes
- Coordinates with managment for staff scheduling, and daily, weekly monthly and quarterly reports
- Assists and compiles invoices and receipts for AP and AR
- Maintains employee information and certification
- Assists, maintains, digitises records, policies, and duties
- Assists with maintenance and revision of corporate policies
Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written
- Required knowledge of current business software, in particular, high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Must be bondable
- Minimum 3 years experience as administrative assistant
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident only
- Minimum education level: Secondary School
- Carry or lift items weighing up to 23kg (50lbs)
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, walking on floating structures
Salary:
$44,000.00-$49,000.00 per year
