If so, the Divisional Compliance Branch within the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks wants you to join their team as Manager, Divisional Training and Registrar Section


About us:

The Drinking Water and Environmental Compliance Division (DWECD) provides provincial oversight of environmental compliance and enforcement and supports all communities in Ontario through the delivery of innovative programs that protect clean air, land and water, including safe drinking water.

The Divisional Compliance Branch provides ministry oversight of environmental compliance programs by providing the framework, tools and systems for effective management, development and delivery of risk-informed front-line compliance activities.

The branch is also responsible for delivering mandatory technical and health and safety training for compliance staff, Provincial Officer designations as the Provincial Registrar and is the ministry lead for 24/7 spills and incident response.

As the Manager, Divisional Training and Registrar Section, you will:

  • oversee and manage the planning, development, evaluation and implementation of strategic training program frameworks.
- design and deliver training sessions and modules using various training approaches and modalities.
- lead and direct stakeholder relations, consultations, engagement and facilitation.
- oversee procurement and development of third-party contracts.
- provide expertise and advice to senior management and staff on program development and implementation options.
- demonstrate the
leadership behaviours, attributes and mindset for leaders, across the organization, to lead the OPS into the future and deliver our vision.


How do I qualify?:

  • You have leadership experience with the ability to inspire, engage, motivate, develop and mentor staff to deliver on results during ongoing change and transformation.
