Overview:
Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an experienced
Receptionist to add to our team.

As the welcoming and friendly face of our company and a member of a team of administrative assistants, you will be exposed to several areas of our high-tech business in this full time.

Your strong work ethic and initiative will allow you to take on additional support and more variety as well as identify ways to improve how we do things.


The Location:
This position is located in the Hexagon Calgary Campus and requires a full-time office commitment.

In this state-of-the-art location, we offer a casual and innovative work environment, including leading edge technology, on-site gymnasium, dedicated bike storage room, and underground parking.


Responsibilities:

As the

Receptionist for the Hexagon campus, responsibilities include:

  • Direct incoming calls and welcome clients and visitors for three Hexagon companies located on campus
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
  • Monitor and administer building access according to Controlled Goods Security requirements
  • Manage Cafeteria and BBQ reservations
  • Support marketing activities such as tradeshow preparation and related events
  • Provide additional administrative support to various departments/teams

Qualifications:

Must-Have:


  • Experience as a Receptionist in a professional office environment
  • Experience administering building access according to specific security programs
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and is comfortable with technology
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, maintaining a positive and flexible attitude
