This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Platform Engineering Operations Support, the incumbent will be performing t the following tasks:
o Assist with scheduled/routine weekend jobs

o Providing L1/L2 support for incidents

o Raise/close tickets and assign appropriately, while monitoring and supporting till incident is resolved.

o Liaise with L3/L4 team for assistance.

o Join/Initiate bridge calls for incident resolution

o Runbook documentation and proper storage

o Ability to progress to L3 support

Qualifications:

o University degree with - 4 years of related work experience in a mainframe or mid-range computer environment or

o College Diploma and 3 to 6 years of related work experience in a mainframe or mid-range computer environment

o Ability to organize and prioritize jobs to be processed.

o Ability to exercise sound judgment in performing job duties.

o Bilingual (English/French) communication skills are an asset.

Specific Skills:
o Knowledge of JIRA

o Knowledge of ServiceNow

o Knowledge of Unix, WebSphere, Linux

o Programming knowledge (Java, Python)

o Web development

o Unix shell scripting

o SQL Query knowledge
