Junior Buyer - HVAC & Plumbing Projects

Position Overview:
Experience 1-3 years (required)
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with vendors for HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, pricing, and supplier information.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material needs and optimize inventory management.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Assist in evaluating vendor proposals and making recommendations based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

How to Apply:
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain and organize files and records
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for meetings
- Coordinate and manage projects as assigned
- Conduct research and gather information as needed
- Assist with budgeting and financial tracking
- Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques and vendor management principles is a plus
- Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain processes is preferred
- Ability to procure goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards
- Strong sourcing skills to identify potential vendors or suppliers

$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
