    Hours 70 bi-weekly (8 hour days) Salary HL-21 ($71,216.Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NL Health Services) brings together five former separate health entities - Eastern Health, Central Health, Western Health, Labrador-Grenfell Health, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information.

    The creation of a provincial health authority was announced following recommendations from Health Accord NL.

    NL Health Services is responsible for delivering health and community services to more than 528,000 people living in Newfoundland and Labrador and employs over 21,000 people.

    Reporting to the Director - Support Services, Infection Prevention and Control, and Medical Device Reprocessing, the Strategic Delivery Manager will be a leader within Facilities and Support Services in the Eastern Rural Zone and will be responsible for ensuring the Support Services, Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC), and Medical Device Reprocessing teams are meeting their strategic goals and objectives.

    The Strategic Delivery Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee daily operations, including workflow, scheduling, budget and quality assurance.

    The Strategic Delivery Manager will work collaboratively with other leaders within NLHS and with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate lines of communication and ensure efficient operations.

    A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or a health-related discipline is required.
    A certificate in project management is required.
    A certificate in change and process management would be considered an asset.
    Experience working in a healthcare environment managing clinical project implementations is required.
    Experience in change management is required.
    Experience working in a management or leadership role is an asset.
    Experience leading process and quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
    Experience in change and project management is preferred.
    Knowledge of quality improvement principles, human resource management, change management and fiscal management.
    Demonstrated strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Demonstrated strong leadership skills focused on supporting and empowering members of the team, and the ability to manage change and continuous improvement.

    Demonstrated ability to work with high degree of independence and initiative, effectively manage time, and prioritize work requirements.
    Based site will be a location within the Eastern Rural Zone.
    Participation in a regular, on-call rotation may be required.
    A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
