About Us
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing project deliverables in support of achieving project objectives over the entire project life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Administration
Maintains project files and project related records
Assists with maintaining project budgets and providing internal distribution of financial information to evaluate the performance of the Project compared to the financial baseline
Processes sales orders, transmittal forms and documents
Sets up new projects and manages, reviews and reconciles the project accounting module data within the ERP
Performs various project administration tasks as required including timesheet setup, document control, meeting minutes, tracking action items and project data maintenance across project
Project Coordination
Understands, tracks and delivers Project scope according to contractual requirements
Communicates with customers regarding project scope and schedule
Creates and manages project schedules and resources in P6
Tracks project budget and hours and escalates variances
Assigns tasks to engineering, purchasing and production teams
Assists Project Managers with reports and documentation
Reports to internal and external stakeholders on progress of project as directed by the Project Manager
Attends engineering meetings as required for project
Delivers projects to schedule and scope within budget
Tracks invoices and payments from customers
Supports the organization in planning /scheduling and resource management of projects
Assists with putting costings into P6 for PM schedules
Adheres to Systems Delivery project schedule for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting activities
Performs other project coordination tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Over two years of relevant work experience
Previous experience from a manufacturing environment and understanding of the manufacturing process
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding and delivery of Project scope
Self-starter with the ability to work independently; good judgement and problem solving abilities; understanding and management of Project stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Working knowledge of general accounting software
Experience in Project scheduling such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an asset, but not required
Familiarity with contracts, change order documents etc
The range for this role is $50,000-60,000 CDN and the actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity.
