- Serving food and liquor responsibly, while providing guests with a pleasurable experience.
- Must be knowledgeable in our product as well as our brand, while also having knowledge of our local area.
- Perform daily tasks such as cleaning, stocking, organizing, ordering and accepting deliveries.
- Ensuring safety of our guests by verifying age and identification, responsible liquor serving.
- Ensuring comfort of our guests by maintaining a pleasant atmosphere including temperature, lights, TV channels, music station & volume.
- Accurately prepare and serve all beverage, while taking orders and engaging bar patrons.
- Be familiar and personable to locals and our regular guests including Mug Club Members.
- Ready and willing to work in a service role which may include direct contact with the public and or vendor representatives.
- Follow all required Health, Safety, Prevention & Sanitation procedures at all times
- Provide support and training to colleagues as required
- Maintain proper audit track records, follow company policies & procedures
- Develop and maintain close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments
- Consider the environmental impact of all decisions
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Position requires walking/standing for extended periods of time
- Position may require heavy lifting up to 160.5lbs (kegs, furniture, etc.)
- Strong hospitality experience in a fast paced environment
- Must possess a current Pro-serve status

Title:Pub Bartender
Reports to:Pub General Manager
The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is a craft brewery and brewpub located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Situated in the town of Canmore, the Grizzly Paw Pub & Brewing Company has been in operation since 1996. Our brewing operations include a 20,000 square foot landmark brewery, a pub, restaurant, taproom, and event space.
We are looking for an outgoing and knowledgeable colleague who is willing to learn and ready to provide our customers with memorable experiences
Summary of Position:
This is a position for a detailed oriented, customer oriented individual, able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
