Our team manages and improves the billing experience for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customers can easily subscribe to our products. Harbour Foundations:

This team is building the internal foundation for an AI-powered customer journey at Jobber. This team's mission is to create scalable, intelligent systems that give GTM teams clear, actionable visibility into every AI-driven interaction — enabling more personalized, efficient, and proactive support across the entire customer lifecycle. As our AI footprint grows across Sales, Success, Support, and Onboarding, Harbour serves as the connective tissue that unifies these interactions, eliminates context gaps, and brings clarity to complex customer journeys. By centralizing fragmented tools and surfacing real-time insight into conversations, sentiment, and customer intent, the Harbour team is redefining how we observe, influence, and improve our AI-human hybrid workflows.

SC Intake:

This team plays a vital role in bridging the gap between Jobber's customers (SPs) and their customers (SCs). We build and iterate on impactful customer-facing features, including Reviews, Referrals, and a suite of marketing tools, to help home service businesses win more work. Staff Software Engineer at Jobber:

As a technical champion and force multiplier, you lead and mentor teams of exceptional engineers while collaborating closely with Product and Design partners to tackle complex technical challenges. Your expertise spans architecture, design, and hands‑on coding, allowing you to have a significant impact on the product and our customers. A portion of your time is allocated to "Staff Dev Projects," which may include cross‑team initiatives, work acceleration within your team, exploration of emerging technologies, addressing technical debt, or investing in the future of engineering at Jobber.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and iteratively deliver high‑impact features that address customer needs
• Partner with Product and Design teams to shape and define the strategic product roadmap
• Identify and lead large‑scale initiatives that drive innovation across multiple teams or departments
• Actively participate in code reviews and testing processes to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Champion the development of consistent engineering practices and reusable code solutions to enhance overall efficiency
• Lead and facilitate group discussions to drive consensus on optimal solutions for complex customer problems
• Research, promote, and implement industry best practices within your team's domain, staying at the forefront of technological advancements
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, bridging the gap between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members at all levels, fostering their professional growth and career development

To be successful, you should have:

• Demonstrated expertise in developing highly scalable, robust software solutions across multiple layers of the technology stack
• Hands‑on experience using tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, and Copilot in your workflow, refining how you balance AI‑driven efficiency with the craft of software development.
