Position Summary:

This position is accountable for the quality of metering and sub-metering equipment assembled and installed while also supporting various warehouse activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Splicing Current Transformer cable harnesses
  • Test Current Transformer cable assemblies
  • Assembly of metering and all related equipment to support Installations, Operations and Engineering
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Assist meter lab staff in preparation and inspection of outgoing equipment
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Support warehouse activities including deliveries and inventory counts
  • Implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the senior personnel, so that quality of products is maintained

Qualifications:


  • High school graduate
  • Strong communication skills (reading, writing, etc.)
  • Practical handson aptitude
  • Ability to work effectively with hand tools
  • Valid Ontario Class G license
