International Mobility Coordinator

Location:
St-Bruno/Montreal area, Canada


Scope:


  • The International Mobility (IM) Coordinator is responsible for managing individual mobility files within a defined scope, in compliance with the Alstom International Mobility policies.
  • You will monitor the assignment process from beginning to end with home and local HR communities.
  • You will support Home & Host HRs in specific countries or individual situations.
  • You will lead or participate in Transversal Projects within the IM Department.

Operational

  • Manages individual files.
  • Checks and validates applicable setup.
  • Provides data/cost estimation to managers and HR before an expatriation.
  • Prepares and presents packages/contracts to employees, including hypothetical taxes.
  • Organizes the briefing call with the employee, managers and HR.
  • Gives the instruction to home and host HR AES International mobility for payroll, Social Security, and local plan registration.
  • Organizes the registration of the expatriates for global plans (medical, pension,).
  • Coordinates the relocation, immigration and tax processes with external vendors in coordination with home AES International mobility.
  • Prepares the secondment agreement/recharge agreement and recharge process.
  • On a yearly basis, updates the calculation and salary review and prepares the tax reconciliation.

Compliance

  • Ensures compliance of expatriation contracts with International mobility policies

Background

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Fluent in French and English (writing and speaking)
  • Experience in expatriate management (as HR BP or IM Coordinator/Specialist)
  • Prior experience as HR Generalist is desirable
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability and willingness to attend calls to accommodate different time zones
