The User Experience Researcher at Autodesk is a relentless customer advocate, possesses a passion for human-centered design, and has a track record of executing highly impactful research with cross-functional teams.
Our User Experience Researchers leverage a wide variety of research methods and work in lockstep with their product teams to envision, validate, and ship high-quality experiences our customers will love.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product teams, design leads, or other researchers to determine research objectives of scoped problems
- Develop detailed research plans that address research objectives
- Using straightforward methods, carry out research protocols following best practices for those methodologies
- Leverage data collection methods that ensure highquality data
- Collect, organize, and synthesize research data; interpret it to reveal actionable, impactful insights that inform research objectives
- Create artifacts and reports that document research findings and insights that determine courses of action for design and product teams
- Share and present findings to design and product teams
- Build productive internal and external working relationships that support user research projects and skill development
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of quantitative analysis- Knowledge of the architectural, construction & engineering industry- Experience researching platform products and cloud services- Experience with Autodesk AEC products- You have an inquisitive mind and empathy for customers- You're a collaborator and enjoy working with partners and stakeholders to solve tough problems- You're a pattern finder and holistic thinker- You have strong verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills- You don't fear complexity
