In this role, you will:
- Review the Monthly Equipment Status Report (ESR) and follow up with clients or healthcare professionals regarding the ERSs that were not returned.
- Confirm with clients that equipment is still in use and in good working condition, and advise the Assistant Coordinator when equipment needs return or repair.
- Track the progress of ESR followup on the shared ESR spreadsheet; regarding returned ESR letters by contacting the client/family or the health care professional to update records with current client information; respond to client incidents and prepare incident reports promptly.
- Work in collaboration with the Partner Services Associate, interpret and follow the program policies and contract provisions and communicates them to health professionals and clients as required.
- Report and consult with Assistant Coordinator regarding vulnerable client needs.
- Forward inquiries from clients, healthcare professionals, and the public to the Assistant Coordinator regarding program eligibility.
- Integrate volunteer resources within the scope of responsibilities, as required.
- Participate in disaster planning, preparation and response, as required.
What we are looking for:
- One year of administrative work and office procedures and one year of customer service experience.
- Experience working with vulnerable clients and their families. Experience working with volunteers is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. French is an asset.
- Computer proficiency with Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and execute tasks in a highpressure and fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to manage conflict and difficult situations and show empathy.
- Standard First Aid training, or willingness to take training.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and the ability to lift and carry 23 kg (50 lbs) would be considered assets.
Working conditions:
- The typical work week will be from Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm (may be flexible) with 35 hours per week.
- The majority of the work is performed in an office and warehouse environment.
- If you are selected for this role, you will be required to complete a successful preemployment screening process which includes a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
- Full vaccination against COVID19 is mandatory for this position and operation.
