Description

The Put-Away/receiving Associate is responsible for verification of received material and maintaining product movement via logs and updating Warehouse software.

The put-away/receiving associate responsible for put-away products to the right locations, also assist pickers with product retrieval as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for laying out the warehouse to effectively use warehouse racking and ensure all products are organized on the racks in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
Document and communicate all issues and discrepancies with direct supervisor.
Maintain a variety of records, files and reports including training logs and equipment utilization logs.
Operate a computer to process reports and forms.
Packing, wrapping and labeling products onto skids.
Moving stock throughout the warehouse using a Reach Truck, if employee holds a valid license.
Complete Daily inspection sheets of power walkie and Forklift
Assist with all departments as required.
Responsible for carrying out assigned housekeeping tasks.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications / Experience:

12 years' experience working in a warehouse
Professional positive attitude and excellent communication skills and basic math skills.
Proven history of reliability and punctuality
Good health and physical strength, able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
High attention to detail.
Accuracy in following instructions.
Reach licence and experience is an asset.
