Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research.

Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.

Position Overview:

This job requires assistance with knowledge mobilization. This job requires research into the use of infographs in mobilizing research knowledge. The work will also be producing templates of infographs that will be used in knowledge mobilization. Inforgraphs and other creative forms of knowledge mobilization will be created. This job requires communicating research results utilizing visual methods.

Duties:

Research into other forms of creative knowledge mobilization.
Preparing infographic templates.
Examining research findings and how to present them to various groups of interest.
Assist with duties related to the production of articles, publications, reports and presentations.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

A student in a creative discipline of art, communication, performing art, creative expression paired with social science knowledge.
Senior year of program.
GPA 3.5 or higher.
Knowledge of graphic design, excel, other creative platforms.
Experience in creating items for knowledge mobilization or expression of knowledge.

Condition(s) of Employment:

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

The period of work will be from
December 11, November 25, 2024 and the estimated total hours of work will be
0-200 hours.
