As a Contract and Operations Specialist at CDW, you'll play a key role providing operational and process improvement support to our Partner & Product Management team.

You will be involved in the preparation, review and management of contracts with partners supplying products and services for CDW and CDW customers.

Further, you'll work closely with CDW's Partner & Product Management, Legal and Sales teams, and coordinate with Purchasing, Finance and others as required to support contracting and cloud operational processes.

What you'll do

  • Working with internal stakeholders, develop a foundational knowledge of CDW's quote to cash process, product and services offerings, order management, subscription lifecycle, business models, renewals management, contract templates and more
  • Work closely with Sales to facilitate partner contracts and operational requirements for time sensitive quotes and orders
  • Understand what defines cloud products at CDW, including contractual implications of cloud technologies. Review and maintain required documents and trackers associated with third party product and service offerings.
  • Work with the CDW Legal and Partner & Product Management teams and our partners on the review, preparation, of various commercial partnerfacing contracts, including reseller agreements with OEMs for SaaS, cloud, software and hardware products
  • Identify potential risks and deviations from CDW standard contracting and business approaches, and address with input and approval of required stakeholders
  • Summarize and communicate contractual requirements and compliance obligations, which may include the development of sales tools, process workflows and training materials
  • Drive negotiations to completion with regular followups with internal and external stakeholders

What you need to succeed

Must-have

  • Bachelors or related technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional services, managed services or cloud business with a focus on previous experience with data management, reconciliation and database management
  • Knowledge of applicable contract laws, pricing policies, and product awareness with understanding of channel partner relationships
  • Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive written materials including legal documents, reports, and presentations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize and address both business and legal risks and opportunities
  • Ability to communicate to effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritizing multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects simultaneously including ability to shift priorities
  • Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development
  • Excellent operational and process driven problemsolving skills

Nice-to-have

  • 2+ years' experience in contracts management or 1+ year experience in contracts within technology industry
