JOB SUMMARY

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.

Network Administration:

Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, NAC, SAN storage, telephone systems, Sharepoint, network printing, Azure, Citrix, O365/Exchange, SQL, Camera systems, site backups.

2.

Network and System Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Implement solutions to enhance network and systems reliability, speed, and scalability.

3.

Server Deployment and Management:

Deploy and maintain servers on-prem and remotely running VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V and ensure data backups and security updates are completed.

4.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT staff for network-related issues. Respond promptly to network outages and incidents to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.

5.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Manage and update documentation for projects, including any contracts with vendors.

6.

Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and projects.

Work closely with system administrators, cybersecurity specialists, and other IT professionals to ensure the seamless integration of network components with other systems and technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and support roles.
Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Handson experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco routers and switches, San/Server/Virtualization with VMWare ESXI and Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL, Azure AD SSO, Identity Synchronization (AAD Connect), Conditional Access, Entitlement Management, Privileged Identity Management, User Provisioning, O365/Exchange, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and NAC deployment and maintenance.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with endusers and stakeholders.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
