Job Description:

Department Overview

As a leading administrator of government services worldwide, Maximus Canada relies on its expertise and experience to help governments at the local, provincial and federal levels support their service delivery and business operations.

TCS leads the transformation of government services to implement new programs and policy ideas, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, modernize legacy information systems, and identify new options for leveraging funding.

The Data & Analytics (D&A) Consulting practice within TCS partners with government organizations to:

Identify current data processes and analyze current data and analytical process maturity;
Align data and analytical capability growth to organizational goals and priorities;
Design future state data and analytics organizations, processes and technologies;
Implement future state processes, capabilities and technologies; and
Empower data and analytics professionals to increase the value of their analytical insights.

Role Summary
A Manager is an experienced TCS professional who has started to excel in some of the competency dimensions. A Manager is known for domain expertise and can generate their own work and guide the work of others. As such the Manager is often responsible for business volume, through (add-on) sales and delivery of a project. A Manager can act as a team lead or counsellor for other team members.

Your typical week at Maximus

Lead D&A Consulting engagements (e.g., maturity assessments, strategy creation, organizational design, and system implementations) in support of government transformations;
Planning, managing, and completing project tasks including liaising with client and Maximus Canada teams, gathering information through structured interviews and documentation review, documenting and evaluating existing D&A processes, and performing detailed quality assurance review and feedback on the work of others;
Communicating (written and verbal) findings and recommendations to a variety of client stakeholders through the preparation of reports, strategies and other project deliverables;
Lead the development of sales materials for new client engagements and actively participate in the identification of additional effort work throughout existing client projects;
Guiding project teams through the project delivery lifecycle including the coaching of junior staff members and developing their skillsets; and
Influencing and contributing to other practice initiatives, including but not limited to knowledge sharing, training, HR initiatives, and practice management activities.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business or computer science;
58 years of relevant experience in consulting or solution implementation;
Understanding and experience with data and analytics capabilities and frameworks;
Experience with the identification and/or evaluation of data and analytics processes; and
Experience with government organizations at the local, provincial or federal levels.
