    About the role


    The Business Partner, Human Resources is a member of the Human Resources team. He/She is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating people and labor relations strategies, including policies, programs and procedures to meet the human resources needs of the organization.

    Essential Duties

    • Advise and support managers and employees on human resources issues, including policies and procedures
    • Responsible for the administration of benefits and terms and conditions of employment
    • Address and manage labor disputes and provide advice on employee relations and labor relations
    • Contribute to a high quality employee experience
    • Administer employee files: hiring, absenteeism, probation, performance, etc.
    • Greet new employees, explain human resources policies and procedures and benefits in effect
    • Participate in the implementation and development of various human resources programs, policies and procedures.
    • Participate in the recruitment and job change process - internal promotion.
    • Participate in staffing processes when required.
    • Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws.
    • Respect, understand and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in the area of health and safety.
    • Develop work methods and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the work team.
    • All tasks related to the performance of duties

    Training & Experience

    • University degree in human resources or combination of relevant education and experience
    • 7 to 10 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the mining or industrial sector
    • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, basic knowledge of SAP
    • Bilingualism essential (French, English)

    Working Conditions

    • Schedule: 8 days of work followed by 6 days of rest
    • Éléonore mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
