    Be our next Field Technician-Civil/Geotechnical

    Your work environment at EXP

    In this role, you will be a part of the Geotechnical team, of the Environment/Earth Science - Geotechnical, based in Sudbury office and have the opportunity to work on the various projects.

    What a day at EXP has in store for you

    • Soil identification.
    • Monitor site grading activities (including limited surveying).
    • In situ density and compaction.
    • Concrete, mortar, and grout sampling and testing.
    • Asphalt sampling and testing.
    • Soil and groundwater sampling.
    • Work closely with contractors, consultants and municipal personnel.
    • The successful applicant may also be trained to provide support in the concrete and soils lab.

    What your experience looks like

    • College diploma in architecture, construction, civil or environment.
    • 2 plus years' experience in a similar role.
    • Working knowledge of MTO, CSA, CCIL, and ASTM procedures is preferred but not required.
    • Previous relevant experience (including co-op work terms).
    • Valid driver's license and possibility to travel throughout Northeastern Ontario job sites also required (upon mileage and expense reimbursement).
    • Strong written and communication skills.
