Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, aligning it with the overall business objectives. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and drive growth. Work with The Executive Team on Overall Company Strategy

Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare financial reports, and provide insights to the executive team and board of directors.

Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks that could impact the company's operations and profitability. Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as insurance policies, hedging strategies, or contingency plans.

Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning, including monitoring cash balances, managing working capital, and optimizing cash utilization. Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure appropriate funding.

Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Coordinate external audits and maintain strong internal controls.

Financial Operations: Supervise the finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and taxation. Streamline processes, implement financial systems, and leverage technology to improve efficiency.

Capital Structure and Financing: Evaluate the company's capital structure and make recommendations on capital raising activities, including debt and equity financing. Manage relationships with investors and financial institutions.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Assess potential M&A opportunities and participate in due diligence processes. Provide financial analysis and guidance on valuation, deal structure, and integration plans.

Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, such as investors, analysts, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Communicate financial performance, strategies, and risks effectively to ensure transparency and build trust.

Leadership and Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities.
  • Punctual, focused on organization and detail.
  • Effective communication, time management proficiency, resiliency and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of MS products including Word and Excel.
  • Proven Financial Leadership**: Demonstrated experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a senior financial leadership role, with a track record of successfully driving financial strategies, overseeing financial operations, and contributing to organizational growth.
