Description

Securiguard is looking for an experienced
Security Use of Force Instructor for our Ontario operations to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge.

You will provide complete training to share your expertise in ways that motivate others. This position is based in Toronto. The Security Instructor position is critical, and reports directly to the V-P, Operations for Ontario. There may also be opportunity to support national training initiatives.

What you Bring:

Five (5) years security experience, preferably two (2) in a manager or supervisory position, and at least one (2) year as an instructor
Knowledge of Security and securityrelated legislation
Knowledge of Canadian Criminal Code and 494(c)
Knowledge of security and life safety systems
Use of Audio-Visual Equipment/Laptops
Writing training materials and lesson plans
Entertaining and Impactful Presentation Skills
Strong Organizational/Administrative Skills
Willing to travel in Ontario (occasionally)
Ambassador of Securiguard always
Willing to learn about Securiguard customer requirements/objectives, and matching our training offering to them
Demonstrated Attendance and Reliability Record
Collaborative Approach

Security Instructor must have the following Intervention Capable certifications:

MORB (Management of Resistant Behavior):

Securiguard will fund all re-certification courses and workshops.
**There will also be some requirement for travel in Ontario.
