Job summary

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue client invoices and progress billings in alignment with project schedules.
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Process payments, apply receipts, and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Communicate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
  • Assist with documentation for insurance, restoration, and construction billing.
  • Maintain organized digital records in accordance with company and audit standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or construction accounting.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with restoration or insurance billing is a strong asset.
