Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our growing team.

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement process, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, with a focus on clerical responsibilities and purchase order (PO) management.


Responsibilities:

Purchase Order Management:


  • Accurately create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all details are correct and in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.

Clerical Duties:


  • Perform clerical tasks related to procurement activities, including data entry, recordkeeping, and document filing.
  • Maintain organized and uptodate files for easy retrieval of information.

Attention to Detail:


  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all procurementrelated tasks.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation to identify and rectify any errors.

Vendor Communication:


  • Foster positive and effective relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status, changes, and issue resolution.

Hybrid Work Environment:


  • Work collaboratively with team members both onsite and remotely.
  • Attend onsite meetings and activities as required, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 35 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, with a focus on clerical duties and PO management.

Technical Skills:


  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with industrystandard procurement practices and processes.

Communication Skills:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Adaptability:


  • Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities effectively.

Problem Solving:


  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
