Job summary

We are seeking an experienced HCA Instructor to teach our Health Care Assistant Program (Practical) in the evening shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Taking students on Multi Level/complex Care Practicum.
  • Teaching clinical skills to students and their evaluation of clinical skills.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current unrestricted registration as an LPN, RN, or RPN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Teaching Competency: Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners (e.g., Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent , or prior teaching experience with satisfactory references or evaluations).< l i>Clinical Experience:< ul style='list-style-type:none'>At least two years of full-time Canadian nursing experience (1 year = 1400 hours).< li >Experience working with older adults with complex health needs .
