Established in 1919, Fort Garry Fire Trucks is Canada's leading manufacturer of quality fire trucks. Fort Garry Fire Trucks is looking to hire a full -time Service and Warranty Administrator for our Service department.This position provides administrative support to the Service and Warranty Manager and is a first point of contact for service or warranty customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare work orders
- Maintain service department vendor, customer and labour reports
- Receive and respond to requests for service or warranty, customer inquiries and requests from service technicians
- Prepare parts quotations for approval and process purchase orders
- Coordinate travel arrangements for service technicians
- Review and ensure completion of the administrative requirements for service contracts
- Review job costing reports and submit for manager approval
- Liaise with accounts receivable on customer accounts and payments
- Prepare invoices for freight recovery
- Maintain warranty database
- General office duties
Applicant Requirements:
- Proficient computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Fluent spoken and written English and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt, multitask and manage competing priorities and adhere to timelines
- High attention to detail and accuracy with data collection and entries
- Legally eligible to work in Manitoba
- Reliable transportation: bussing is not available at our location
