Description

The role of the Shipper Receiver is to fulfill the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company policy.

They also ensure that receipts are checked and are met with attention to detail to ensure the timely receipt, distribution, and invoice processing of materials.

You will report directly to the Supply-Chain Manager; but you will support the Purchaser and Logistics Coordinator.

What We Do:

We extrude top-quality aluminum architectural products in a variety of solid color and wood grain powder-coated finishes. Longboard provides the design and construction community with inspiring architectural products for thoughtful spaces.


What You Will Do:


  • Physically check, receive, and distribute incoming material
  • Electronically receive materials against the packing slip in the companybase software
  • Check invoice against the purchase orders to ensure quantities and pricing is accurate so it can be submitted to accounting for payment
  • Assist the Logistics Coordinator in preparing shipping paperwork
  • Distribute materials to departments by use of pallet jack or physical loading
  • Conduct inventory counts

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years' previous shipping/receiving experience
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Able to work with others
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Experience with ERP is an asset
  • Dependable and punctual
