Description:

Data Centre Operations (DCO) has day-to-day "Running The Business" requirements that drive several key deliverables:

Deliver products and services on offer.
Deliver essential business support services.
Complete operational plan commitments.
Implement operational improvements.
Complete inyear procurements.
Help our workforce achieve their business and developmental goals.
Implement the infrastructure changes to support a remote workforce.
Ongoing hosting asset life cycle management.
Modernization of data centre processes and tools.
Evolving the branch with Product Management.
Provide the branch with valued learning paths and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Lead and and\or assist with the development and maintenance of PPGs, business cases, audit responses, Inside DCO content, learning strategies and events, communication plans, status reports, dashboards and other business related materials and collaterals.

Evaluation Breakdown

1. Public Sector Experience - 5%

Parameters:

Previous OPS or other public service experience in an organization of a similar size and structure.

2. Description of most current work completed as a Business Analyst - 30%

Parameters:

Experience in a business analyst role, how outcomes were achieved and the lessons learned.

3. Communication and Communication Strategies - 20%

Parameters:

Description of why communication is important as business analyst and the communication strategies used to ensure the following:

prioritization of tasks,

- creation of documentation,
- monitoring progress and milestones,
- providing management and operational teams with updates, recommendations on risks and challenges.

4. Interpersonal Skills 15%

Parameters:

Recent initiative example, outlining how it was established, developed and maintained effective working relationships with stakeholders to perform business analysis duties with business, technical, operations and vendor partners.
