AMI SUPPLY - Advanced Mine & Industrial Supply is the leading distributor of belt maintenance products in Canada.

We currently have an opening in Saskatoon for a
Conveyor Belt Lacer Technician. Solid technical and mechanical skills are important as well as being able to troubleshoot problems.

This might be the job for you if you're experienced and/or employed in: automotive, welding, fabrication.
Training will be provided. Applicant must have a strong mechanical background and a high school diploma.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Service and maintain belt splice equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operation
• Prepare work orders and other necessary paperwork and documentation according to Company and customer requirements
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot problems with mechanical equipment
• Exercise considerable independent judgement when troubleshooting
• Maintaining good housekeeping
• Accountable for maintaining service parts inventories
• Meet scheduling requirements
• Ensure proper maintenance is conducted for Company tools/ equipment
• Meet Company, Customer and Legislative safety standards (i.e. personal protective equipment, equipment/material handling etc.)
• Shipping and receiving

Qualification

• A high level of mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication ability, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be able to work in a demanding environment, and enjoy learning new concepts and products
• Strong problemsolving ability, particularly relevant in managing customer concerns

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$28.00 per hour

• French not required

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
