About the Team:
The Bell Real Estate - Innovation and development team uses emerging technologies, Agile to define, design and build innovative solutions that enable Bell's communications services for businesses and consumers.
We are looking for creative problem-solvers who are curious, collaborative, and ready to be on the leading edge of technological transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform introduction of new technologies (NTI) and define/maintain processes (NPI) definition
- Act as design and commissioning authority for PoC
- Define the problem statement and/or associated business case
- Create mandate and associated success criteria
- Set the management system related to PoC
- Track, manage, and present results
- Set operationalization plan to deployment team
- Analyze current technologies used within the industry and determine ways to improve
- Guide the development and evolution of IoT products and building systems digitalization (Building Management Systems)
- Document problems and solutions that address technical issues
- Define a strategic architecture approach to develop products, systems, and features
Critical Qualifications:
- College or University Diploma, related STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) background or related experience
- Experience in SCADA systems using serial/IP protocols (Modbus, Bacnet, SNMP, MQTT, etc.)
- Experience with building's electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 routing, VPN, DMZ, NAT, etc.
- IT Infrastructure experience including virtualization, VMware, Hyper-V, IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS
- Experience with Shell scripting, Java, Python, Go, C, C#, etc.
- Experience with micro services, REST APIs, web services
- Experience in Machine learning and AI development
- Knowledge of Data Storage and Backup solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
- Proven leadership, analytical, problem solving and organization skills
- Autonomous, resourceful, strong tolerance to ambiguity, excellent capacity for applied learning
- Basic knowledge of JIRA and Confluence software
- Problem solving thinking
