As a psychologist in our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnoses and comprehensive assessments, helping individuals understand their unique needs and providing personalized recommendations and support.

- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and schoolrelated challenges.
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools, including standardized tests, interviews, behavioral observations, and rating scales, to gather comprehensive information and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic understanding of each individual's needs.
- Interpret assessment results and provide detailed reports, outlining strengths, challenges, and recommendations for interventions and support.
- Offer counseling and guidance to individuals and families based on assessment findings and help them navigate the available resources and support systems.
- Stay uptodate with the latest research and best practices in the field of autism, ADHD, and school assessments, continually enhancing your knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.
D.) in Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a psychologist in Ontario.
- Extensive experience and expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and schoolrelated challenges.
- Proficient in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism and ADHD evaluations.
- Strong knowledge of the DSM5 diagnostic criteria and familiarity with other relevant assessment frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate assessment findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple assessments and meet deadlines.
