    Description

    What do we do?Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational content to international students in North America, Europe and China.

    Using online tools, we provide short online courses, academic counseling, one-on-one teaching, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students' academic success.

    Sinica Education is looking for instructors with experience teaching introductory, intermediate, and advanced level engineering related courses to join our team.


    Specifically, we are looking for instructors in:
    Mechanical EngineeringBiomedical Engineering Electrical Engineering And other higher level high school/lower level college subjects are a plus

    Location:

    Remote/FlexibleHours:

    Flexible 8-20 Hours per weekUsually, classes are scheduled:Weekday: PST Late Mornings, Afternoon + EveningWeekend: All dayYou can pick your suitable hours.

    Current Master's and Ph.
    D. students are encouraged to apply.
    What are the required qualifications?MUST hold a BS or graduate degree from a top 50 university. Those holding a PhD or an EdD are encouraged to apply.

    A real passion for education and a desire to work with international students of different backgrounds, ages, and ability levelsNot required but a plus:

    proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin ChineseWhat are other desirable qualifications?Classroom teaching experience at the high school or university levelExperience with high school curriculum designOne-on-one tutoring experience with high school or university studentsExperience with online learning platformsWe are a US-based company, this position qualifies as a contracting position.
