Description

3+ years of automotive sales experience as a top producer in your dealership is required:

Prior experience working as an automotive Sales Manager would be an asset
Prior experience working for a Volkswagen Group brand is highly preferred but not required
Proficiency in written and oral communication skills in English
is required:
Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required
A demonstrated excellence in achieving results, backed by a strong work ethic

- a valid VSA license is required
- a valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving extract is required

In the role of Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Taking a leadership role in advancing the Sales Department's performance across several KPIs: Lead Conversion, Test Drive Conversation, Closing Ratios
Direct intervention in the followup processes within the Sales Department when it comes to missed/unclosed opportunities, and taking proactive measures to improve customer engagement with online leads and customer loyalty
Leading the prospecting apparatus for finding opportunities to do business via the Service Drive, and buying in used vehicles from 3rd party platforms (nonauction)
Championing established processes within the Sales Department and assist in the development of new processes that help enhance staff efficiency, process and knowledge proficiency, and customer satisfaction
Creating and interpreting reports that help benchmark and monitor the Sales Department's ongoing performance across the key KPIs
Interacting directly with customers whenever there is a trade appraisal and assisting in closing sales opportunities via established negotiation skills and processes
Assist in addressing customer satisfaction concerns within the Sales Department
Acting as a coach and mentor to help develop salespeople to their full potential
