Universal Collision Centre is looking for a Reassembly Coordinator to join our growing team
The Reassembly Coordinator plans, co-ordinates, and directs the collision center's reassembly and quality efforts, ensuring that repairs to customers' cars have been completed correctly and that vehicles are returned to customers in the proper condition.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate these objectives with managers
- Ensure manufacturing processes are in compliance with Universal Collision Centre's standards
- Coordinate and direct reassembly process to meet scheduled out dates
- Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvements
- Ensure all products used are complaint and reject defective ones
- Maintain records of quality tests, procedures, and standards
- Minimizes comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for quality
- Investigate and correct all customer complaints regarding workmanship
- Inspect all repair orders to ensure they include completed documentation and that proper warranty and/or insurance procedures have been followed
- Speak directly with customers to explain repairs and address any concerns they may have
- Understand and follow all applicable regulations and OH&S requirements
- Inspects vehicles to ensure quality repairs and condition of vehicle before customer pick up
- Manage workflow within the specified department
- Any other duties as required by management
Requirements:
- 13 years experience in a body shop or automotive service industry body shop technician education and experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety policies, maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and procedure manuals
- Proven ability to communicate complex messages and provide clear information to customers and colleagues alike
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and takes pride in the work produced to provide excellent customer service
- Adaptability and organizational skills to manage heavy workloads and change priorities
