KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Business Partnering

  • Serve as the key finance partner to the Head of Sales, Director NRM and Director Commercial Strategy. Provide Ad Hoc support to the CFO Americas
  • Develop a strong business partnering culture with the Americas Customer team, providing valuable insight while ensuring continual improvement.
  • Serve as key point of contact for Audit on topics related to Sales and Customer finance.
Customer Finance/Net Revenue Management

  • Ensure adherence to budgeted trade spend and support Monthly Forecasting, Accruals, Reporting of Actuals, Variance Analysis and Control.
  • Manage a regular rhythm of business performance diagnostics, the annual & strategic planning process & forecast process.
  • Manage the delivery of budgeted Net Sales Growth and Margin for defined brands across all channels, utilising the full suite of NRM levers such as Price/Promo, Promo optimisation, Mix, Pack size (PPA) and Trade Investment.
  • Work with the Customer team to drive a better understanding of the drivers of performance (including trends, channel/customer profitability and knowledge of external retailer landscape and dynamics) and develop GAP fill opportunities.
  • Monitor brand performance to identify P&L opportunities, challenge and build plans to improve profit and course correct where necessary.
  • Support implementation of pricing council for dynamically addressing cost recovery and business investment plans to maintain profitability.
  • Cross functionally develop 3year PPA roadmap to support Brand and business objectives and future proof our longterm strategic direction.
  • Embed and manage a dynamic set of tools and ways of working to leverage and optimize Net Revenue Management
  • Commercial representation for brands on crossfunctional projects including innovation pipeline.
  • Partner with the broader finance function to improve existing business processes and implement new business processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in CPG or Food Industry
  • B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience harnessing technology to share insights and information. Ability to consolidate the findings from 'big data analyses' into an efficient and effective narrative for business partners and leadership.
  • Ability to convert data into strategic insights that drive decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand alone and influence both up and down within and outside the organization.
  • Build from scratch mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate.
  • A drive, commitment and sense of urgency that inspires others to be their best and achieve results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Blue planner
