The Opportunity


The National Sales Co-Ordinator's primary objective is to further develop BioSteel Sports Drinks Large & Small Format Business by supporting the key account team across multiple projects and tasks and coordination between multiple departments (Trade Marketing, Key Accounts, Finance, Distribution) to enable a standardized approach.

The role will lead to supporting excellent execution in these channels which in turn will drive volume and share growth for the BioSteel Ready to Drink Small & Large Format business.


Responsibilities:


Key responsibilities include:

supporting the and enhancing the key account promotional plans, POS Co-ordination across the team, supporting the launch of new item process and monthly reporting for key customers.

The role will work very closely with the Key Account team, sales analytics, distribution, finance, and trade marketing.

See below for more specific responsibilities:
Merchandising Support

  • Ownership of weekly and monthly promotional deal sheets across the team for multiple large format customers
  • Tracking of BioSteel Ready to Drink and competitive promotional prices and display events instore
  • In coordination with the Key Account Team and Data Analytics provide recommendation on promotional calendar ongoing improvements
  • Ownership of weekly and monthly promotional deal sheets across the team for multiple large format customers
Monthly Reporting

  • Support with Walmart retail link analysis, monthly inventory reporting, flyer tracking across large format customers, Cooler trackers for specific accounts, distribution hunt list analysis.
  • Come up with sound recommendations on key findings from these reports and provide action items to key stakeholders involved.
New Item Process

  • Support Key Account team with completing New Item listing forms needed for Large & Small Format customers
  • Coordinate OPL kits and samples for key Customer to ensure samples among the teams
  • Coordinate internal KA New item plans and liaison with Distribution and Trade Marketing to provide detailed information for the launch to enable

LONG TERM SALES DRIVERS:
PROJECT CO-ORDINATION

  • Support NAMS with rollout of important Long Term Sales Drivers like (Cold at Cash, Warm Ambient Racks, Cold In HMR) by aiding in coordination items like: Tracking of rollout execution, POS inventory tracking, coordination with OPS, TM and Distribution
CUSTOMER & COMPETITIVE RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS

  • Conduct store checks and Drive Tool audits with summarized findings
  • Participate in monthly ASM trade days at Distribution Partner and with the Key Account Manager
  • Monitor and record competitors pricing, promotion and instore execution activity
Experience

  • Minimum 13 years in a support within the CPG industry, ideally as part of a Key Account team or a broader sales team.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask proficiently
  • Strong analytical skills able to sort through data and provide concrete recommendations
  • Innovative, solutionoriented mindset
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently
  • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Retail Link, LDIA, A.C. Nielsen is an asset
