Reporting to the Supervisor, Financial Services, the
8-month co-op student will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks that will support our financial services team, reconciling bank transactions, uploading journal entries.

What You Get to Do:

Assist with filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
Reconcile bank statements and account transfers, perform monthly bank reconciliation
Support Finance team for Monthend close and Account reconciliation
Provide coverage and support to other positions within the accounting team as required

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a business or accounting coop program from an accredited University; previous coop work experience is an asset
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with an aptitude for math
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Eager to learn with a positive attitude
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with speed
