Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator. You will be part of a rapidly growing group with room to grow within the company. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders to develop and ensure solid, longterm relationships are maintained. Utilize existing relationships and industry connections to identify and bid Civil Construction based projects.
  • Develop and complete estimates for tender submissions on small, medium, and largescale civil construction projects.
  • Cost estimating, budget development, and monitoring of budgets throughout project duration.
  • Document, negotiate, review and manage contract changes and supplemental agreements made by the owner and/or subcontractor(s). Responsible for direct preparation and approval of extra work orders, change orders, etc.
  • Review plans and specifications to determine scope of work and to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure that testing and inspection requirements outlined in the Project Specifications are performed, documented, and submitted to the owner in an efficient timeframe.
  • Oversees the startup and closeout of project, review, approve and process invoices.
  • Responsible for planning and logistics: work plan, methodologies and material approvals. Manage/oversee activities, equipment, staff, materials, and resources required by the project to ensure they are available for commencement of work and to avoid project delays.
  • All aspects of project management including change management, risk management, safety, delegation, environmental, client interface, operations, etc.

Experience & Education:


  • Post‐secondary technical diploma or degree.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with civil (road/highways, site work, underground utilities, excavation, etc.) related projects.
