Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Collect, verify and process payroll information, determine pay and benefit entitlements for employees, maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, using a computerized bookkeeping system.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
  • Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, etc.

Qualifications:


  • Fine attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and oral).
  • Capacity to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Requirements:


  • Ability to reliably commute to work.
  • Completion of a postsecondary degree/diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or payroll administration or 2+ years of related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a bookkeeping software.
  • Fulltime Monday to Friday/ 40 hour work week / No Shifts_
  • Benefit package included after completion of probationary period of 6 months._

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
