Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify and process payroll information, determine pay and benefit entitlements for employees, maintain accurate payroll records.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, using a computerized bookkeeping system.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, etc.
Qualifications:
- Fine attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and oral).
- Capacity to follow instructions and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements:
- Ability to reliably commute to work.
- Completion of a postsecondary degree/diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or payroll administration or 2+ years of related experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a bookkeeping software.
- Fulltime Monday to Friday/ 40 hour work week / No Shifts_
- Benefit package included after completion of probationary period of 6 months._
Job Types:

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
