    About the Role


    Play a key role in Magna's global financial planning processes. The Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of Magna's global Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning processes. The role also supports special projects as requested by the Executive team.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Prepare financial system environment and templates for planning scenarios.
    • Complete scenario analysis and recommend adjustments.
    • Conduct financial reviews as directed by Executive Management.
    • Assist in special projects across all management levels and functions.
    • Support Magna Finance with adjustments and additional analysis.
    • Assist in reviewing profit participator bonus calculations on a quarterly basis.

    Who we are looking for

    • Strong financial and data analysis skills.
    • Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Professional, motivated self-starter who seeks out opportunities to improve methods of task completion

    Your preferred qualifications

    • Knowledge of US GAAP
    • CPA designation (CGA, CMA, or CA) or close to completion.
    • 2-3 years of consolidation experience, preferably in an audit or professional services firm.
    • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management, and other financial applications.
