Why is this Role Important?

Overview:

To be responsible for the stocking of shelves and neat presentation of the store for the next day of business.

Specific duties and responsibilities to include the following.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
To ensure proper receiving procedures are followed and that all merchandise is verified with invoices to ensure the accuracy of logs;
To be responsible for ensuring proper product rotation, all shelves are properly stocked, and that grocery merchandise is labelled with proper PLU's;
To ensure all ordering of product is completed for the next day;
To ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to and that the store is neat and clean for the next day of business;
To interpret and administer company policy, ensuring compliance with union contract;
To prepare a summary worksheet for the franchisee, indicating the level of production achieved.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Exceptional customer service skills
Two to three years' experience in the grocery retail industry, preferably in night production;
To possess strong merchandising experience;
Ability to direct and supervise all departments on night shift, checking progress and results;
Flexibility to work weekends as support to the 7day operations;
Ability to effectively train new grocery night crew employees;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
