We are looking to fill the role of
Shop Supervisor at 4154 McGillivray Blvd.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daytoday Truck & Trailer fleet operation (not be responsible for the heavy equipment fleet)
Audit and approve vendor invoices
Approve PO numbers in real time
Confirming work orders vs warranty work
Confirm and track outsourced repair work
Vendor part negotiations
Support with offsite repairs by assistance in sourcing vendors at the most economical manner
Warranty follow up
Supervise and provide leadership to all shop employees to effectively meet company goals and objectives
Manage resources within his/her area of responsibility to ensure staffing and equipment levels match business activity levels
Look for new ways to continually improve operations through focused efforts
Work with the shop foreman to drive continuous improvement
Supervisory skills, including the ability to manage staff, maintenance, work schedules, station assignments, and training

Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointed by management

Qualifications

5 or more years' experience in a leadership position in the Truck / Heavy truck industry is a benefit
Excellent communication skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timelines and responsiveness
Ability to lead and manage a busy team environment
Knowledge of construction equipment
Strong verbal and effective written communication skills
Mechanically inclined
Basic computer skills
Spectrum knowledge would be considered an asset
Valid driver's license (no bus access)
