MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR-ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF OPTOMETRISTS
MG CONSULTANTS IS WORKING WITH THE ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF OPTOMETRISTS TO FILL THIS EXCITING ROLE.


This is a fast-paced and fulfilling role that will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of membership plans for retention of current members, and growth of new members and improving member benefits at the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

What you will be doing

  • Membership retention and recruitment working with the Senior Director develop and implement membership tactics for retaining current members and growth of new members. Investigate and develop recruitment plan for students in Canada and for Canadian students studying in the US
  • Member benefits and servicesconduct an annual review of existing members benefits to ensure offerings are current and represented accurately on the website
  • Create polls and surveys to obtain needed member information
  • Support the Senior Director with scheduling travel and logistics associated with member events

You bring to the role:
You are a person who is highly motivated and considered a self-starter who excels at customer relations and has an ability to respond to member enquiries with professionalism


In addition, you possess:

  • A secondary school diploma
  • At least three years of office administration and customer service experience preferably with a member organization
  • Occasionally able to attend off site functions and events
  • Project management experience or certificate would be an asset
