Injection Molding Operator

To ensure a safe, highly organized, quality and efficient process as well as maintaining the reliability of the injection molding department.

Provide an environment of Teamwork and flexibility to the site's operation.

Major Responsibilities:

Injection molding operation and maintenance including: start up, shut down, support break down repairs, planned maintenance, operation process controls, product & process quality checks, monitoring and process adjustments
Adherence to 5S, GMP, Health & Safety and environmental initiatives
All Safety, QA, QSinfinity, Traceability and Production Reporting (SAM)
All assigned Safety, Environment, Quality and Maintenance procedures
Completion of all Autonomous & Planned Maintenance inspections and activities
Active involvement and participation in Continuous Improvement and problem solving (GSTD) plans
Build an environment of teamwork, flexibility and support to other areas of the site's operation
All other duties as assigned Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated technical ability in a processoriented manufacturing environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
Willingness to achieve forklift certification
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software preferred
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs
Previous Injection experience (Husky Hypet 500 injection molding) would be an asset
Must have some experience with the Blowmold department process and be able to support with break coverage in the department if needed.
